Seeing Hankook line of tires is like choosing a treat at a candy store. However, another model that should not be overlooked is the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire. Now there may be some confusion between this tire and the more expensive Kinergy PT H727.

The difference between the two (besides the price) is the structure of the tire. Since the Kinergy PT is a premium touring tire, Hankook has blended silica with a carbon black compound. This allows the tire to perform well in changing weather conditions without sacrificing comfort, fuel savings, and wear.

But even with the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire being priced lower, it still benefits from a number of high-tech features. All things being equal, both tires share similar characteristics, and both are designed for compact cars, sporty hatchbacks, mid-sized sedans, small crossovers, and family vans. This means that the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire outperforms the Kinergy PT, even though at a lower cost.

What are the features of the Hankook Kinergy ST?

The tire comes with a solid mid-tread rib to improve stability and steering feel. It also benefits from tougher tread blocks to reduce wear and provide better handling. The tires come with variable traction grooves to improve weight braking and traction on snow. The feature works with multiple notched sips and variable angle sips to further increase traction on wet or snowy roads.

To ensure a stable and quiet ride, the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire features a noise-optimized duct design and an optimized slope array to eliminate road noise. This tire may be the standard option, but it is not without features that will give you a better driving experience.

Is the tire durable?

Hankook took advantage of all the tricks in the book to strengthen the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire strength and longevity. The tire is equipped with a strong jointless bead and a high-stiffness bead filling. Manufactured using wide twin belts and a jointless full-coated reinforced belt to optimize tire stability and stability in high-speed driving.

How does it behave on dry and wet roads?

How does it perform in snow or cold weather?

The Hankook Kinergy ST H735 is rated M+S. This means that the tire is designed to handle light mud and snow, albeit slightly higher than a normal touring tire. While this is true, the Hankook Kinerji ST is not ideal for long cold weather driving. I also learned that it can only handle very light snow. If you force it to roll over deep snow or icy terrain, you’ll feel the tires spinning and looking for traction.

Is it comfortable and refined?

Both tires are cool at low and medium speeds, even when rolling on hard asphalt or concrete tracks. How about tire wear?

The Hankook Kinergy PT comes with a 90,000-mile warranty, while the Kinergy ST H735 Tire comes with a shorter (but still excellent) 70,000-mile warranty. Both tires use low rolling resistance rubber compounds to help deliver more mileage. It’s probably the difference between a premium and a standard touring tire. Kinergy PT’s high build carbon and silica compound can squeeze more life out of rubber than the double filled compound in Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire.

However, tire wear is determined by a number of factors, including vehicle type, alignment settings, and driving style.

Should I buy the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire?

I guess the question should be more why not? The Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire delivers excellent year-round performance at a low entry price. If you have a van, small crossover, or compact car for the everyday driver, the Hankook Kinergy ST H735 Tire low price is reason enough to dive in.
